This looks lovely. I would probably go for the Botanical Gardens alone.

You know, I haven’t really come just for the botanic gardens part. Maybe I should give it a serious look and compare it with Perdana Botanical Gardens.

Wow what a stunning place! I love walking through forests and canopy walks are always great, so this looks like a must do for me!

I love going on canopy walks – we have quite a few in Australia – and this one looks spectacular. Did you find it scary?

    • Teja says:

Yeah, a bit of vertigo kicked in on some of the spans. I think it’s because much of it is not nestled amongst trees, so the height suddenly feels a lot more obvious. The 50m tower was especially intimidating, since it just rises by itself as basically a scaffold, and even though you know you wouldn’t accidentally fall off the sides, it still took me some willpower and focus to take the phone out my pocket and just snap some landscapes! I do wonder what it would be like at night!

The Forest Walk seems almost mystical when looking at your pics. Gorgeous. I would love to visit.

I think you’ll like the FRIM side, where you would go more into the forest. There are old wooded areas all over the campus, a great raintree planted at the time of the late Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation, mature tree groves and yams with giant umbrella sized leaves along the forest trails. But then again, I guess the gardens side would have more herb features…

This looks so lovely. I am planning my second trip to Malaysia, and bookmarking this for sure.

Yes, I think it’s more of a thing to do on a repeat visit to KL rather than the first time, when you already know a bit of the city layout and have some familiarity with our transit systems.

  6. This looks lovely. We did a small canopy walk in Kuala Lumpur a few years ago…this looks way better. Will try to hit it on our next visit.
